Edinburgh Central Mosque, 50 Potterrow
It's been two months since my last visit there. Small but quite and peaceful place, where I always come to pray, or just relaxing myself. A place where I met my brothers and sisters.
I hardly ever involved in the mosque's events except as a participant. I was too busy with my MSc programme so that I could only see from far what my friends were doing in the mosque. Until one day I realized that it was my last day in Edinburgh.
I was so amazed with the way my sisters felt about my leaving. They contacted me to come to the mosque and then handed me a small and beautiful gift. We'll miss you, they said. But they were not sad, and did not even cry because they believe that our love will live through out the years and across nations, as long as we worship one God, Allah Swt.
Sumayia, Sahdia, Sandra, Sheda, Salma, I miss you all....
Uhibbukunna fii amanillah...
